ATMOSFERA [VOTO: 7 1\/2]<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nell\u2019era dei dilettanti allo sbaraglio, finalmente a Torino un ristoratore di esperienza. Sulle ceneri del francese La Louche, a un isolato da piazza Adriano, \u00e8 nato da pochi mesi l\u2019elegante e raffinato Monti, un\u2019oasi di pace fuori dai soliti giri. Tre salette raccolte, arredate con gusto, regalano la giusta intimit\u00e0. Adatto per cene romantiche o per far bella figura con un ospite.<\/p>\n

CUCINA [VOTO: 7 1\/2]<\/strong><\/p>\n

Per essere uno che ha iniziato nella cucina di una birreria, ne ha fatta di strada lo Chef Giuseppe! L\u2019arte messa da parte negli anni \u00e8 oggi al servizio della tradizione gastronomica piemontese. Per il Monti ha studiato un menu che affianca alle ricette pi\u00f9 conosciute quelle ormai dimenticate, magari svecchiate con nuove tecniche di cottura e abbinamenti insoliti, sempre nel rispetto della stagionalit\u00e0 delle materie prime. Non mancano il vitello tonnato, gli agnolotti, il fritto misto piemontese (anche in versione vegetariana), i tajarin, il fassone con panatura di grissini, ma fanno capolino anche piatti che in pochi ormai osano proporre: la finanziera, le lumache, i ravioli ripieni di animelle di vitello, le grive di Langa (fegato e polpa di maiale), il cirighet (uovo pochet con salsa di peperoni, acciughe e capperi). La pasta e gli gnocchi sono fatti in casa (e si sente), cos\u00ec come i dolci. Lo Chef lavora per sottrazione. Ne scaturiscono sapori lievi, che talvolta faticano ad imporsi. Delicata \u00e8 la salsa del vitello, delicati i ravioli del plin al tovagliolo, fin troppo delicati i fagottini di magro alla camomilla. Gli amanti della carne cruda non possono perdere la battuta di fassone, condita egregiamente con sale nero e zeste di limone. Gran finale con la carta dei dolci: pesche con amaretti e cioccolato, crepe souzette, tarte tatin, bonet alle pesche. Applausi a scena aperta per la zuppa di tiramis\u00f9. Nello zabajone, invece, andrebbe ridotta la dose di zucchero. Buona selezione di vini. Entr\u00e9e e aperitivo offerti dalla casa.<\/p>\n

STAFF [VOTO: 7 1\/2]<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il servizio, composto e attento, \u00e8 affidato alla moglie dello Chef. Lui, persona affabile e appassionata, riesce a tenere il tempo nonostante in cucina faccia quasi tutto da solo. E a fine serata fa capolino in sala per due chiacchiere con gli ospiti.<\/p>\n

PREZZI [VOTO: 6\/7]<\/strong><\/p>\n

Conto non adatto a tutte le tasche. Per una cena soddisfacente si sfiorano i 50 euro a testa.<\/p>\n

PIATTO FORTE<\/strong><\/p>\n

La zuppa di tiramis\u00f9 con riduzione di caff\u00e8, crema pastorizzata al mascarpone e savoiardi tostati \u00e8 un meraviglioso gioco di consistenze e sapori. Mai pi\u00f9 senza.<\/p>\n

PIATTO DEBOLE <\/strong><\/p>\n

Il vitello tonnato ha un pregio – la carne tenera e cotta alla perfezione \u2013 e un difetto – la salsa un po\u2019 lenta e poco tonnata.<\/p>\n
